Understanding the Repository in Kadal
Overview
The Repository in Kadal serves as a centralized location where users can access, upload, manage, and organize content. This content is then shared with users, making it accessible for various purposes. The Repository is useful for users as a knowledge base for creating agents and for accessing shared content.
Key Features of the Repository
- Upload Files: Users can upload files into their My Space section of the Repository.
- Create Folders: Users can create new folders to organize their files in the My Space section.
- Access to Shared Files and Folders: Users can view files and folders shared by the admin.
- Download Functionality: Files can be downloaded directly.
- Knowledge Base for Agents: These files can be linked while creating agents, providing the agents with context or additional data to enhance their responses.

Log In to Kadal

From the dashboard, click on the Repository tab in the navigation bar.

On the Repository page, you can explore the following tabs:
- Shared with Me: In this tab, you will see all the files and folders shared with you by the admin as part of the groups you're a member of. The following actions can be performed:
- Download: Download files to your local system.
- My Space: Here, you can upload new files and create folders to organize your files. The following actions can be performed:
- Create Folder: Create new folders to organize your content.
- Upload: Upload files from your local system.
- Download: Download files to your local system.
- Rename: Rename files and folders you’ve uploaded.
- Delete: Delete files and folders.
- Shared with Me: In this tab, you will see all the files and folders shared with you by the admin as part of the groups you're a member of. The following actions can be performed:

When creating an agent, you can select relevant files from the Repository to use as a knowledge base. This ensures the agent has access to the right data for providing accurate responses.
