Using Threads

How to Use Threads in Kadal

The Threads feature in Kadal allows users to interact seamlessly with the platform through conversational chat threads. Threads make it easy to manage interactions and access conversation history.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Kadal.
  2. Upon logging in, you’ll land on the Threads page.
    • This page displays a chat thread where you can begin interacting with Kadal.
  3. Use the input bar at the bottom of the thread to start your interaction.
    • Select Model: Choose a model from the available list, such as Gemini, Claude, or GPT.
    • Attach Icon: Add files to the thread for additional context or analysis.
    • Click the Attach icon.
    • Upload a file from your computer or import one from the repository.
    • Input Field: Type your message or query.

Note:

Users can upload one file per prompt, up to 5 MB in size, in these formats: CSV, DOCX, XLSX, PDF, or TXT.

  1. Click Submit or press Enter to send your message.
    • Kadal will respond to your message within the thread.
    • Review the agent’s response. You can:
    • Copy the response.
    • Like or dislike the response to provide feedback.
  2. On the Sidebar, view the history of your current and past threads.
    • Hover over a thread to reveal the vertical ellipsis icon.
    • Click the ellipsis to open the action menu, where you can:
    • Rename: Rename the thread for easier identification.
    • Delete: Delete the thread if it is no longer needed.
  3. To start a new thread, click New Chat Thread from the sidebar.
