How to Create an Agent in Kadal for Schools

In this article, you will learn how to create a new agent in Kadal for Schools. You’ll understand the essential fields required during agent creation, such as Title, Description, Instructions, and AI model selection. The process will guide you through configuring advanced settings like Max Tokens and Temperature to optimize agent performance.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Kadal for Schools as a User.
  2. Click on the Create Agent button to navigate to the Create Agent page.
  3. On the Create Agent Form:
    • Provide the Title for your agent, which should be descriptive of its purpose.
    • Add a Description outlining the agent’s function and role.
    • Enter Instructions to guide the agent in how it should respond.
    • Select the AI model from available options: Azure, Vertex AI, or Bedrock.
    • Choose the Model Version based on your selected AI model (e.g., GPT, Gemini, or Anthropic).
  4. Configure Advanced Settings:
    • Set Max Tokens to define the maximum output length (1 token ≈ 4 characters).
    • Adjust Temperature to control the randomness of responses (lower values for accuracy, higher for variation).
    • Select an Icon from the available options to represent your agent.
    • Note: Make sure to review the settings before saving, as the agent’s configurations cannot be edited once saved.
  5. Click Save to create the agent.
  6. Once the agent is created, you can start interacting with it immediately by submitting queries in the left panel.
