How to Create an Agent in Kadal
Creating a custom agent in Kadal allows you to tailor AI-powered solutions for specific tasks. This guide explains how to set up an agent, define its purpose with essential fields, and configure advanced settings for optimal performance. By the end, you’ll have a fully functional agent that you can interact with.
Steps:
- Log in to Kadal as a user.
- Navigate to the Agents page.
- Click the Create Agent button to open the agent creation form.
- Fill in the following details in the form:
- Agent Name: Provide a unique and descriptive name for the agent.
- Agent Icon: Select an icon that represents the agent's purpose.
- Description: Write a brief overview of the agent’s role.
- Master Prompt: Specify instructions that guide how the agent should respond to queries.
- Category: Choose the appropriate category for the agent (e.g., General, Health, Finance).
- Add Source: This attached content will serve as the agent's reference material for generating responses.
- Click +Add to attach content as the agent's knowledge base.
- In the popup, select the required files from the repository and click Add.
Note:
Users can only select files available in the repository. These files are shared by their Admin. For additional file requirements, please contact your organization's Admin.
- Configure the Advanced Settings:
- Model: Choose from the available AI models (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude).
- Response Type: Adjust the randomness of responses (lower values increase accuracy, while higher values add variation).
- Max Tokens: Define the maximum output length (1 token ≈ 4 characters).
- Click Save to create the agent.
- Once the agent is created, it will appear under My Agents. You can start interacting with it immediately by typing and submitting queries.
