How to Reset Your Password if You Forget It​

Overview​

Forgetting a password can happen to anyone, but resetting it in Kadal is straightforward and secure. This process ensures that you can regain access to your account while keeping it protected. The password reset feature is designed to help users recover their accounts seamlessly without compromising security. Follow the steps below to reset your password and regain access.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to the Kadal Login Page.
  2. Click on the Forgot Password link below the login form.
  3. Enter your registered email address in the provided field and click Reset Password.
  4. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
    • Note: The reset link is valid for 24 hours.
  5. Open the email and click on the provided reset link. You’ll be directed to the Create New Password page.
  6. Enter your new password in the appropriate fields, confirm it by re-entering it, and click Create Password.
  7. A confirmation message will appear on your screen, and you will receive an email confirming the password update.
  8. Return to the Kadal Login Page and log in using your username and newly created password.

Best Practice​

  • Use a strong password that combines letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Avoid reusing old passwords to maintain account security.
