We are excited to announce the first official release of Kadal for Schools, packed with new features and improvements designed to enhance user experience and admin capabilities. This release aims to streamline operations, improve productivity, and ensure a secure, compliant platform for educational institutions.

Admin Capabilities

  • Chat History Viewing & Downloading: Admins can access and download chat histories between users and agents for analysis and record-keeping.
  • Repository Access Control: Admins can manage user access to the repository, allowing them to assign or revoke permissions.
  • User Group Management: Tenant admins can now create and manage user groups, offering greater control over access and permissions.

Agent Library

  • Custom AI Agents: Tenant admins can create, categorize, and publish AI agents that will be made available to users after publication.

Dashboard Enhancements

  • LLM Cost Transparency: Users and Super Admins can now track the cost of LLM usage directly on their dashboards.
  • Tenant Management Updates: Admins can mark tenants as inactive or delete users, with notifications sent to users about changes.

Governance & Compliance

  • AI Moderation Reporting: A new reporting system tracks AI moderation keyword violations, ensuring platform content compliance.

User Enhancements

  • Agent Creation & Customization: The agent creation interface now simplifies the setup process, ensuring faster deployment with reduced errors.
  • File Uploads: Users can upload files (up to 5MB, supporting .csv, .docx, .xlsx, .pdf, and .txt) to agents and run queries on the content.
  • Threads Interface: Users can interact directly with agents, upload files, and switch between multiple AI models (GPT-4 Mini, Gemini 1.5 Pro, Claude 3 Haiku).
